Spotted Gum is a very popular East Coast Australian Hardwood used for decking and flooring. It is a highly durable timber which has been smooth dressed all-round. Spotted Gum Hardwood Timber Decking has a widely variable grain pattern rich in reds and browns but is well known for its wavy grain and brown colour.
It has a high tannin content and can be oiled to protect the timber. A good quality oil applied yearly will help to preserve the spotted gum timber colour.
