Acrylic sealant is a water-based sealant product consisting of acrylic polymers. It provides improved paintability, water clean-up, and economy over the use of silicone or polyurethane sealants. Acrylic is therefore the logical choice for interior finishing and general maintenance repairs. Acrylic sealant creates a flexible joint between surfaces to accommodate minor movement with sufficient adhesion to most building materials, especially porous substrates.
