Spotted Gum is a very popular East Coast Australian Hardwood used for decking and flooring. It is a highly durable timber which has been smooth dressed all-round.
It has a widely variable grain pattern rich in reds and browns and can be oiled to protect the timber. A good quality oil applied yearly will help to preserve the timber colour.
Spotted Gum Decking is considered Fire Retardent as it can be used in Bush Fire prone areas up to and including BAL 29
